Launching of the Mauritian Cybercrime Online Reporting System (MAUCORS) and Cyber Drill exercise

The Computer Emergency Response Team of Mauritius (CERT-mu), a division of the National Computer Board operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Technology, Communication & Innovation has developed the Mauritian Cybercrime Online Reporting System (MAUCORS). The objective of the system is to coordinate and resolve social media incidents efficiently.
 
The system was launched by Hon. Yogida Sawmynaden, Minister of Technology, Communication and Innovation.

On the same day, CERT-mu also conducted a cyber-drill for top management of organisations in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The objective was to assess organizations’ preparedness to resist cyber threats and enable timely detection, response, and mitigation and recovery actions in the event of cyber-attacks.
